This is what sets Bauhaus Italia apart from conventional Bauhaus retailers. Alongside standard specifications, we work closely with our Italian workshop to create individual editions that go far beyond furniture produced off the shelf.

Many of our pieces can be personalised far beyond their standard specifications – from distinctive finishes and unusual upholstery to carefully coordinated colour combinations.

Together with our Italian workshop, we assess your ideas and develop a specification that complements the furniture, your interior and your personal style.

EAMES LOUNGE CHAIR

High-Gloss Edition

This exceptional high-gloss edition was created for a customer who wanted the Lounge Chair to complement a Steinway grand piano.

The wooden shells were finished with a deep, reflective high-gloss surface, giving the familiar design an especially elegant and almost sculptural presence.

The cushions were upholstered in Florida leather by the Italian manufacturer DANI. Supple, compact and exceptionally durable, this premium leather is among the finest qualities available for luxury furniture and interior applications.

LC2 COLLECTION

Cowhide Edition

This distinctive LC2 edition uses premium hair-on cowhide. The natural texture and individual markings make every piece completely unique.

The hides are available in classic natural markings as well as expressive colours and unusual patterns. Each hide is individually selected and carefully matched to the furniture.

The exposed metal frame can also be individually specified. Alongside classic polished chrome, almost every RAL colour is available in either a matt or gloss finish.

This allows the upholstery, frame and surrounding interior to be precisely coordinated.
