The WG 24 table lamp by Wilhelm Wagenfeld is one of the most famous and frequently cited Bauhaus lamps. Designed in 1924 at the Bauhaus in Weimar, it symbolizes the Bauhaus philosophy: simple functionality, industrial materials, and timeless elegance.
Unlike the WA24, which features a glass base, the WG24 features a nickel-plated metal base combined with the signature hemispherical opal glass shade. This formal clarity ensures a perfect balance between function and aesthetics.
The soft, diffused light of the WG24 makes it a universally applicable table lamp – whether in the living room, on the desk or as a design object in a modern interior.
The WG24 Wagenfeld lamp is not just a light source, but a true Bauhaus symbol that has lost none of its modernity for almost 100 years.
