The Hill House Chair by Charles Rennie Mackintosh is one of the most famous icons of Art Nouveau and a masterpiece of early modern furniture design. Designed in 1902 for Hill House in Helensburgh, this piece combines geometric rigor with artistic refinement. The high, delicate backrest with its striking vertical struts and the small square lattice element at the top gives the chair its distinctive silhouette.
Crafted from high-quality wood, carefully lacquered, and precisely finished, the Hill House Chair embodies the architectural clarity and attention to detail for which Mackintosh is famous. This piece of furniture is not only a functional seat but also an expressive art object that works in living rooms, entryways, or as a statement piece.
