The Barcelona table by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is the perfect addition to the iconic Barcelona series and a masterpiece of modern furniture design. Designed for the 1929 World's Fair in Barcelona, it embodies the Bauhaus philosophy of clarity, functionality, and timeless elegance.
The structure impresses with its minimalist design: a minimalist cross frame made of chrome-plated flat steel forms the base, upon which rests a generous glass tabletop. This transparency emphasizes the lightness of the form and makes the table an elegant focal point in living spaces, lobbies, or offices.
Through the use of fine materials and precise craftsmanship, the Barcelona table offers not only visual elegance but also maximum stability and durability. It harmonizes perfectly with the Barcelona Chair, Stool, or Couch, but also acts as a standalone statement piece in modern architecture and stylish interiors.
