Eileen Gray's Occasional Table is one of the most sophisticated designs of modernism and still embodies timeless elegance. With its clear formal language, harmonious proportions, and versatile use, it is a masterpiece of Bauhaus design.
The round version of the table impresses with its iconic shape, featuring a chrome-plated tubular steel frame and a glass top that exudes lightness and transparency. It's ideal as a side table in the living room, a bedside table in the bedroom, or as a stylish storage solution in modern spaces.
The angular version, on the other hand, interprets the Occasional Table principle with angular, geometric clarity. It appears somewhat more austere, yet blends equally elegantly into contemporary and classic interiors.
Both versions demonstrate Eileen Gray's flair for functional design that simultaneously meets the highest aesthetic standards. The table is not just a piece of furniture, but a statement for Bauhaus culture and modern living.
