The S33 cantilever chair by Mart Stam is considered a milestone in modern furniture history and is one of the first chairs without back legs. Designed as early as 1926, Stam revolutionized sitting with this design: The innovative construction, consisting of a continuous, curved tubular steel frame, supports the seat and backrest in a suspended position, giving the chair its characteristic lightness and unmistakable springy comfort.
The seat and backrest are available in a choice of woven Viennese wickerwork, fine leather, or robust fabric, harmonizing perfectly with the clean, minimalist design.
