Eero Saarinen's Tulip Coffee Table is considered an icon of modern furniture design. Its distinctive tulip-shaped base lends the table a flowing elegance, breaking up the traditional "leg jumble" of classic furniture. Saarinen designed the table in the 1950s as part of his Tulip collection, which is now considered one of the most important classics of Mid-Century Modern.
